Feather Lift Procedure- An effective newly emerging facial lifting procedure was begun in Russia in about 1998 by Dr. Marlen Sulamanidze.

IPL for Photoaged Skin- IPL is white light (not laser light) which, when delivered to the skin in a series, is beneficial to its color and texture. It counteracts the problems of photoaging.

IPL for Active Acne- IPL delivers light and heat energy (LHE®) deep into the obstructed/injected pilosebaceous skin gland which:
1) releases oxygen
2) kills bacteria
3) diminishes inflammation (redness)
4) assists in “unblockage” of pores

Skin Care- Medications which truly have the power to correct cosmetic skin problems are called ‘cosmeceuticals’ and are only available through the medical profession.

Chemical Peeling and Exfoliation- A fundamental concept of skin care in which the surface cells are injured intentionally in order to stimulate the natural healing response from below.

Microdermabrasion- is a rapid, dry, and painless method for removing a small amount of the top layer of the skin (the epidermis).

VascuTouch Electrocautery- Small red or blue unwanted blood vessels can {usually) be easily destroyed by using the tiny VASCU-TOUCH coagulator

Demal “Fillers”- The term “filler” is used to describe a material (MICRODROPLET SILICONE)which, when placed in or under the skin, ‘fills out’ or raises a low area. Wrinkles, creases, hollows and acne scars are examples of conditions suitable for using tissue fillers. “Thin” lips can be enlarged or defined.

Botox Cosmetic- Tiny amounts (units) of BOTOX COSMETIC™ are injected directly into small facial muscles, which are causing wrinkling in the overlying skin. The idea is to paralyze the muscle and thereby flatten the skin.

Laser Skin Resurfacing- Laser energy is used to vaporize (ablate) superficial skin layers to a precise depth—then allow the natural healing response regenerate an entirely new surface. It is the most aggressive thing you can do for wrinkles—particularly for advanced wrinkles.

Laser Blepharoplasty- is the reshaping or remodeling of the eyelid(s) to bring about better appearance or function. I happen to use the Coherent CO2 laser, rather than scalpel and scissors, to perform this.

Permanent Makeup- is a precise tattooing technique where pigments are placed into the skin to replace the use of cosmetics.

Mineral Makeup- A silk-like powder formulated from a combination of the earth’s minerals. It is called ‘skin care makeup’ because it aids the health of the skin. A thin application dusted over the skin acts as a concealer, foundation, powder, and sunscreen!

Permanent Hair Reduction - IPL is safe and effective for hair removal

Progressive Facelift - modified the FeatherLift (APTOS) thread and procedure in order to get a strong, reliable, midface lift. These threads are engaged (‘hooked’) into the cheek, pass upward thru the temple area, and are tied (‘anchored’) to a fixed point under the scalp above the ear. Not only is more long lasting force created, but the sutures can be tightened (or even loosened) months or years later! I call it the Adjustable Facelift
