PERMANENT MAKE-UP

Permanent makeup is a precise tattooing technique where pigments are placed into the skin to replace the use of cosmetics. The usual areas are the lips (permanent lipstick), the eyelid edges (permanent eyeliner) and the eyebrows (permanent eyebrow pencil). In addition, certain scars and stretch marks can be blended and camouflaged, pale spots in the skin darkened, and anatomic disruptions from surgery or injury (e.g. breast areolae) can be cosmetically improved.

It shortens the daily process of makeup application, stays in place under all conditions (swimming, perspiration, etc.), and is a great help to those who can not apply make-up and use glasses at the same time.

Colors are custom suited to the individual and are inserted after applying an anesthetic cream to the skin for a time. Extreme discomfort can be controlled if needed.

DEB NEBERMAN is a CCPT who applies permanent makeup, usually as permanent eyeliner, eyebrows, or lipstick. She can also use the tattooing technique to restore color to skin when it has been lost by injury, surgery, scarring etc. In addition, she has successfully revised many cases where the technique applied elsewhere was not satisfactory. It is terrific for those who play sports, juggle glasses, or are tired of putting on makeup every day.
